Bury the Light is Vergil's battle theme in Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition and (although edited) Dante's boss theme in Mission 20 (Vergil Mode).[1]
The music was composed by Casey Edwards, with vocals performed by Victor Borba. It was released as a single on streaming services on September 21, 2020.
Song Description[]
"Bury the Light" has an industrial/symphonic metal feel to it, talking of Vergil's struggles from childhood to finally reuniting as himself, understanding that his humanity is an important part of himself. Casey noted that the song is "somewhat a reflection of Devil Trigger."[2]
