Permission to make an actual article for "Bosses"? --Anobi 04:03, October 8, 2011 (UTC)

It's not an actual species or classification within the fiction itself, and there are instances (like the Gigapedes) where one-time bosses become normal enemies. As there's no unifying thread, I don't think there's anything that could be said in a "Bosses" article.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 04:39, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
Their unifying thread is in their gameplay aspect as bosses. Minibosses would be a subsection. No, they're not about the fiction, but DMC is made up of games, with game aspects, and I think we'd be doing ourselves a disservice to not to embrace that. Maybe it's just me, but I hate category pages. They're so un-cool and difficult to navigate from a casual point of view. A "bosses" page would take the place of the category page unless you deliberately look for :Category:Bosses --Anobi 05:48, October 8, 2011 (UTC)
What I mean by "unifying thread" is that there's nothing you would actually be able to say about "Bosses" as a thing within the series, fiction or otherwise. They don't always have an HP bar, they aren't always even beings (Agnus's Containment Chamber)...the distinction between a boss and a lesser demon is largely arbitrary. A simple list of the bosses in the series would be no better than the category, and would require more work and redundancy to keep up-to-date.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 20:06, November 28, 2011 (UTC)
