Cutscenes is the main way of telling the story in all games of the Devil May Cry series.
Starting with Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition (with an exception of DmC: Devil May Cry) previously unlocked cutscenes can be played separately from the menu (called Demo Digest in DMC3SE, Story Theater in DMC4, and Story in the Gallery mode in DMC5).
