Demon Collaborators are humans that appear in DmC: Devil May Cry.
Demon Collaborators look like normal humans until they spot a target and pull them into Limbo, where Malice overflows from their eyes. Their voices become higher pitch and demonic.
The first instance of a Demon Collaborator in the story occurs in the opening where various background characters are shown with black eyes and overflowing Malice. Later on, after Vergil explains his and Dante's lineage, a Collaborator spots Dante and pulls him into Limbo shortly before being killed by Vergil. The last Collaborator seen is the female in Liliths nightclub that forces Dante into Limbo.
- Spotters are the only one enemy who appeared solely in cutscenes.
- The tears of Malice on Spotter's face are a reference to corpsepaint - makeup, used by black metal bands during live concerts. This makeup is used to make the musicians appear inhuman, corpse-like, or demonic, and has likely become "the most identifiable aspect of the black metal aesthetic."
