The Devil Breaker[1] is one of the weapons used by Nero in Devil May Cry 5. It was built by Nico and replaces the Devil Bringer that was ripped off of Nero by an unknown figure.
Nero utilizes the weapon in the same manner as his former Devil Bringer, which possess similar abilities along with the addition of being usable even if the arm is detached.
Inside the Devil May Cry van there is a small workshop where Nico creates and tweaks the prosthetic arm[2], the player is able to buy cartridges from Nico but these are quite fragile, the cartridges can break if Nero takes too many hits, and a new one must be obtained again from either inside the missions or bought from Nico. The Devil Breaker can carry more than one cartridge.[3]
