Devil May Cry Wiki

Brothers is the eighteenth mission in Devil May Cry 5 and the seventeenth "proper" mission.

June 15th 02:01pm[]

Having obtained the power of Sin Devil Trigger form, Dante was the first to reach the deepest depths of the Qliphoth, where he defeated a demon in a battle reminiscent of a past encounter, obtaining a new weapon in the process. Then, at last, he arrived at the final battleground: the uncanny area where Urizen lies in wait.

This mission consists entirely of a boss fight against Urizen.

Boss: Urizen[]

Many of Urizen's attacks from his Enthroned form remain, including Artemis Bolts, Artemis Beam, Eruption, and Geryon Sphere. In addition he can call forth a purple variation of Vergil's Summoned Swords; these can be destroyed with gunfire, though this leaves Dante vulnerable.

Urizen prefers to use his ranged attacks, but when close to the player, Urizen may attack with forward punch aimed at the ground, or one of several sweeping kicks; keep an eye on Urizen's body language to tell when he is winding up these attacks.

Urizen does not like to stay close to the player for long, and has a variety of dodges to create distance. These include sideways dodging in a manner akin to Nero's Table Hopper, backflips, or outright teleporting away using Malphas' portals. Lastly, whenever Urizen loses a third of his health he will clap the air, creating a shockwave that staggers the player.
