The Extra Bonus is a gameplay system introduced in Devil May Cry 5 that rewards the player for completing certain tasks during gameplay.
Overview[]
In addition to the standard Red Orbs received for mission completion and overall style rank, the heroes can also receive bonus orbs for completing certain tasks. These vary from actions that can be performed at any time, such as maintaining a style rank for thirty seconds, to specific actions unique to certain missions or characters. The list of Extra Bonuses completed, and the orbs awarded by them, is presented as part of the mission results at the end of each mission.
Certain bonuses increase their reward by 50% in Son of Sparda mode, and then to 100% in Dante Must Die mode. Extra Bonuses are completely absent from Bloody Palace mode.
