Location[]
On Mission 10: Awaken, after the forced battle that introduces the Hellbat, go through the red pulsating "door" on the right before it closes. Following this path will lead to the Secret Mission area.
Walkthrough[]
On difficulties below Son of Sparda this mission is extremely easy: switch to Rebellion. Wait for the Death Scissors to perform one of its two main attacks (the forward snip or spinning slice) and when the scissors gleam white, hit them with Rebellion to stun the creature. Wait for a second for the red aura around the Death Scissors' face to fully form, then shoot it once for the critical hit.
On Son of Sparda and above the white gleam "tell" is no longer present, but the technique is the same: wait until the Death Scissors is near the end of the windup animation for one of these attacks and strike the scissors to stun it.
Trivia[]
- This Secret Mission is a direct recreation of Secret Mission 01: Critical Hit from Devil May Cry.
- During Mission 03: Flying Hunter, there is one hidden red orb cache in this same area, but it will not spawn when playing this Secret Mission.
