Hey! My name is Atvelonis, and I'm the Fandom Wiki Manager for the Devil May Cry Wiki as well as an admin on Elder Scrolls. I'm here to act as a liaison between you and Fandom Staff and to help you and your community with whatever you need. If you ever have any questions or issues related to the wiki, its features (editing, templates, bots, etc.), or whatever else, feel free to reach out to me on my message wall or on Discord (Atvelonis#9495) and I can help out! —Atvelonis (talk) 20:05, May 12, 2019 (UTC)
I found that getting rid of the text-align parameter will actually make the text left align. Problem is i couldnt figure out which one to change. The naveboxes look really bad with the group box off to the side but all the contents still centered.
Thing is, for a lot of navboxes text-align:left makes it look even worse. (And even *more worse* if you use scripts to remove the right rail, and the article takes the whole width of the main canvas than the itty-bitty space it usually has.)
I don't really know how to deal with this right now. Group headers to the left is the way to go - the way they were to the center previously is a very inefficient use of space. But yes, there are some issues with figuring out how to align the text so it would look the prettiest.
I've been breezing through MediaWiki:Common.js on occasion now, since I am thinking of cleaning up that as well eventually (just like I did wiki's CSS already.) However, my JS skills are rusty and it's harder to figure out what the JS code is for than CSS, especially given JayAaerow somehow wasn't taught that commenting the code is one of the most important parts of a programmer's work.
I would ask him directly, but I know he hasn't been answering his message wall for a while now. You were on the wiki while he was still here, plus I saw you in the history of that file. Can you shed some light on what he or you both were trying to do?
Not sure about what he was doing tbh but the tabbers were being hella wonky at one point. I asked the wikia community for help and they told me that the code for tabbers was in there twice so i deleted the lines they said.
The infobox code is too dense for me to try figure out now, and besides Legion seems to have it as his responsibility for now. If this is left unattended for too long, I'll attempt to figure this out, but not right now.
What do you think? Cuz he's been doing more work than either you or Jay on this wiki lately, it seems. :P Leaving a man/woman like that with necessity to ask you to remove/rename/etc files feels downright cruel.
