Mirage Edge is a phantom version of Force Edge used by Vergil in Devil May Cry 5 and Special Edition.

Like the Mirage Blades, Mirage Edge takes the shape of Force Edge, but in a spectral blue color with a blue aura that causes visual ripples. When swung, it leaves behind a blue trail.

Devil May Cry 5[]
Mirage Edge plays almost identically to Force Edge in Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition. It is dual wielded with Yamato and incorporates some of Dante's attacks such as Stinger, Helm Breaker, Million Stab and Vergil's own version of Round Trip, Drive, and Over Drive, with the return of his unique mid-air Stinger move from Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition and a new Deep Stinger move for his Sin Devil Trigger.
As the Concentration Gauge increases, Mirage Edge gains multi-hit properties. Mirage Edge also has stunning properties like the Blow Mode attacks of Balrog and the lightning attacks of King Cerberus.

- Nico's report indicates that she is unaware that Nero is capable of manifesting a sword made out of his own demonic energy. In his case, it is limited to Showdown, where he shapes his demonic energy into a spectral Yamato.
