Givenname here. I'm sorta new, but old enough to have made a page, I guess. I don't quite know how Talk pages work, but if anyone has something to add or just talk about concerning Poison, feel free! :]

Actual Name? Edit

I don't think her name is actually Poison, considering Dante calls her Succubus in the Secret Ingredient video and refer to her as such on the official Devil May Cry facebook page.LeoXaeris (talk) 07:25, August 4, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, her name is Poison. Succubus is a female demon.Elveonora (talk) 15:08, August 4, 2012 (UTC)

She is referred to as Poison by the directors & developers in various "Commentary" videos released on Youtube. --Anobi (talk) 21:07, August 4, 2012 (UTC)

Just played the game. Don't recall her ever being referred to as Poison. Just Succubus. Also a succubus is a specific kind of demon, that happen to be female, the male counterpart being an incubus (sort of like saying cow or bull). --User:Arch angel gabriele 11:43. January 19 2013 (MST)

Bought the strategy guide a day ago and she isn't refered to as Poison, as Arch angel gabriel mentioned.

That's another one of those things about the devs - they all referred to her as Poison a lot of the time, for whatever reason. It may have been a production name, like "Warrior Drone," and the such, which isn't the real name in the game. Sorta confusing >.< Derekoe|Hot-blooded God of Guns| (talk) 05:09, January 21, 2013 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure "she"'s called Succubus. I need more dark power! 03:27, April 23, 2013 (UTC)

She gets an introductory screenshot with her name. Watch a playthrough of the game where they fight her for the first time.(ಠ_ೃ) Bully! 05:45, April 23, 2013 (UTC)

Does anybody know if she was influenced by Futurama (or rather, has anyone in Dev talked about it?), because the idea is near identical (well, minus demons). Might be worth at least a mention in the trivia? 02:08, January 17, 2013 (UTC)

Strategy Trivia to DMC4 Edit

Never played DmC, just watched walkthroughs and cinematics on YouTube... I saw that the battle against Poison closely resembles the Savior's tactics in DMC4, where she destroys platforms and Dante needs to find another one, just like in the 4th game. They are both gigantic, seemingly float in the air, and have small weak points. Do you think we can add this in the Trivia section? --Rygor Stonehoof the Earth-Shaker! 14:23, July 27, 2013 (UTC)
