This new black-haired character has a lot of people talking. Some say its Dante's and Lady's son. Others saying its Vergil in a new body. What are your thoughts?

I heard that V's actual name is Vitale. It's from a youtube video, so maybe it's not legit. Is the name a reference from an earlier Capcom franchise? It sounds something out of Chaos Legion.
I saw this vid. I searched for the article the Youtuber quoted and found out that it was a theory in and of itself. I'm confirming V=Vitale is complete bullshit. I had to block the Youtuber's channel becaus Youtube kept suggesting that specific video over and over.
Ah, I know the guy, according to him V will fight with scepter & staff from bosses which will allow him to summon different types of servants (Angels included). He gave me a good laugh.
Glad to know you found it funny. It annoyed me to no end, probably because Youtube kept putting it into the 'recommended for you' videos.

Don't get me wrong it was really annoying for me at first/second/third/fourth/fifth... (and so the list goes on) ... but I came to realisation that I cant do a thing about it and he kept ignoring my messages. So with the knowledge that I'm powerless and people dont take him seriously either, I simply started to laugh at his content, rather than get upset about it.
It would be even funnier if he guessed something right. So called irony.
Saw him in the leaked footage. So, that thing he's holding is a cane. Makes sense since his power is summoning.
He kinda looks like a more attractive Adam Driver.
Yea... that's the on-going meme right now in DMC fandom. Some tend to call him Vylo Ren... I'm not a big fan of his design, but it could be worse.
So enough time has passed to reveal that V was Vergil's human half, just as Urizen was Vergil's demon half. It took Vergil two games to reunite himself and come into the corporeal world. What was he doing during DMC 2 and 4? Was he in limbo? Why did it take so long for Vergil to resurrect himself?
I guess that after he blew himself up in DMC 1, it almost destroyed his body, yet he somehow survived it.
It took his body (or what was left of his body) a lot of time to "recover" to the point where he was capable of walking and speaking. He couldnt fully recover as pointed to us by DMC 5 and that's why he split to Urizen and V.
He probably fought against Mundus corruption as well.
