  • In the event of a 6th game who should be the main antagonist?

My best idea so far is a demon born from the remains of the qliphoth I've named said demon for now Qliphon

Qliphon would be essentially a demon powered by the remains of the tree there are concept arts from the first game kina resembling Mundus could use a design similar to that

    • That's all I got at the moment..

    • Instead of making one bad guy, maybe it would be the best to have a few of them?

    • I thought about a Deathstroke-type villain to be one of Nero's enemies. He wants revenge on his father for taking his eye and dignity. He serves the Hellfire club reborn.

    • Dante is gone and the devil arms that he have collected in all of these years are unguarded..

New villain could just steal all of them (Devil Arms from DMC1~4) and just all of them at once. By doing so, he would become quite formidable opponent.

Or.. he would simply picked the strongest ones and the rest would be gifted to his minions.

That's pretty good idea for a villain, however he doesnt quite fits the "final boss" theme.

    • I do like the idea of antagonist that would be using Ifrit, Alastor... Agni & Rudra, Nevan etc... Or even fuse Devil Arms into some sort of powerful armor.

    • Ooo sounds nice I love red queen and the breakers but Nero still lack a bit in the style variety give him ifrit or Beowulf then agni and rudra and have Nero be amused by their talking... maybe have them be their demon forms before devil arms like  imagine ifrit and alastor revealed demon forms or Beowulf meeting Nero and calling blasphemy on sparda thinking he had 3 sons but Nero shrugs that off say you're kinda right ... I call him grandpa most of the time.... so much potential for quality DMC comedy while keeping it badass ...... As for qliphon he'd be the one that gifts life back to the devil arms granting their demon forms or have him be a rival for Nero through out the story like Vergil is to Dante I like rival idea better!!!  then what if main final boss stole and absorbed the power of ever devil and m Nero got? Were onto something with bringing back old devil arms  since Dante basically sold em all except Cerberus to pay rents and debts rip original Cerberus

I apologize for lack of punctuation in advance I type way to fast to keep up with my self trust me it annoys me too

    • IDC if Berial is the son of mundus Ifrit would be a better king of the fire hell

        Loading editor
    • Berial is not the son of Mundus, it has been retconned in the Deadly Fortune.

    • It wasnt so much Deadly Fortune, but accordung to a native Japanese speaker informed us that the japanese artbook didnt say he was Mundus' son. He/she provided us with the japanese text and I ran it through multiple online translators and none of them mention a fanilial relationship or use words that would suggest one.

    • Well Deadly Fortune even solidifies Berial not being Mundus son then.

Wait a minute... Wasnt Itsuno saying that Dante giving Nero Neon Sign was in Deadly Fortune?

Like who said it's not canon?

      • Why it's not canon?

    • Still proves Ifrit should be the true king of fire hell ...wait.. What if Balrog is somehow related to ifrit I mean yeah it can be assumed fire hell demons are fire based but balrog and ifrit have a lot of similarities (mostly for nostalgic effect such as rolling blaze skill like in DMC 1) but the fact blarog turned into gauntlets and greaves balrog could have turned into anything yet chose to be like ifrit

I doubt there is any relation but it would be cool if there was a relation

      • Why it's not canon?

It has a number of inconsistamcies with the game and the current timeline. We shouldnt consider any events other than the ones specifically mentioned to be canon. DMC5/BTN brought up a lot of stuff from Novel 1 but Novel 1 literally cannot be canon in its entirety.

    • My Idea is almost the same but a Female Villain... Born from the Fruit of Qliphoth... She intends to find a suitable King to create a new powerful tree... My idea is she find Nero as the suitable mate and her first act is killing Kyrie. She also was able to mind control Dante, Lady, and Trish to fight Nero. Vergil gives aid to help Nero, both not knowing the Female Villains plan on killing Nero's Love.

(But before killing her. Kyrie became fond of V book which Nero gave her for safe keeping. She have read it multiple times cause it was beautifully writen and it feels alive...)

The Female Antagonist successfully killed Kyrie (her blood runs over V's book which she was holding at the moment) and just about to absorb her soul, The book release a bright Light of energy and took Kyrie's soul. And there appear a white Panther and an Eagle attacking the Villain as she, Along Dante and the Girls retreat. On the side Appears V with an auburn hair cause he was reborn from Kyrie's blood and soul... Having scarce memory of his past life only remembering the days he was alive and a few glimpses of Kyrie's memories...

Urizen ate the fruit. The daughter of the ruler before Mundus. That would be cool.

A king isnt necissary to create a Qliphoth.

This wouldnt happen. V was Vergil's human side. He wouldnt be reborn unless Vergil's human and demon halves separated again.

There would also not be a panther or eagle since those were Vergil's nightmares given physical forms AND Dante killed them.
