Toshiyuki Morikawa (森川 智之, Morikawa Toshiyuki?) is a Japanese voice actor born on January 26, 1967 from Shinagawa, Tokyo. He has voiced hundreds of Japanese characters from the anime and live movies.

Role in the Devil May Cry series[]

Toshiyuki played the role of Dante in the Japanese version of Devil May Cry: The Animated Series, Devil May Cry Drama CD Vol.1, Devil May Cry Drama CD Vol.2, Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition, Devil May Cry 5 and the Netflix series.[1][2][3]

Other Roles[]

Toshiyuki Morikawa is famous for voicing the Final Fantasy VII villain Sephiroth throughout the Japanese versions of the game and in the movies.

He also voice-acted in several older and later Capcom projects, with Ryu in the a number of the Street Fighter games and Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil being no exception. He has also lent his talent to such anime as Berserk, Bleach, Initial D, Digimon, and Tekkaman, to name a few.

One of his most recent roles is as the voice of Shadow the Hedgehog in the Japanese dub of the movie Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

Via the Sengoku Basara series nodding heavily to the Devil May Cry series, Morikawa had also voiced the series' portrayal of Katakura Kojūrō.
