V is a new character introduced in Devil May Cry 5, he is the third playable character in the game[3], aside from Dante and Nero.

Story

When incidents begin taking place across the world, he reaches out for Dante to hire him so they can solve these occurrences.

Gameplay

In terms of combat, V uses his cane and book with the letter "V" on it as weapons.[1]
